What will you find at our stand?

Aluminum profiles for vehicle bodies and trailers

Every bodybuilder has their craft, and we have spent years understanding it: tippers, dry box vans, parcel trucks, curtain-siders, refrigerated bodies, moving floors. For each type of bodywork, we supply long profiles with large cross-sections in 6005 and 6082 alloys. Engineered to withstand structural loads and fatigue cycles without giving way, and prepared for automated welding—because we know that time matters in your workshop.

For refrigerated bodies, the requirements are different: maintaining temperature and enduring cleaning routines. That is why we offer a thermal break (RPT) service, stopping heat or cold transfer between the interior and exterior of the vehicle body. And since daily operations involve aggressive cleaning to comply with ATP protocols, finishes such as anodizing protect the surface from degrading over time.

Meanwhile, in moving floors, the challenge is mechanical: the profile must support the mechanism, cycle after cycle, without fatiguing before the bodywork itself.

Everything that leaves our facilities arrives fully finished: welded, machined, anodized, or powder coated; ready to assemble on your production line without intermediate steps. Profiles that endure the road before your vehicle body even hits it.

Aluminum profiles for trains

Approvals, traceability, tight deadlines… the railway sector speaks its own language. At Extrugasa, we have been learning and perfecting its way of speaking for a long time.

On the structural side, we extrude end walls, window and door frames, and roof and floor panels. Also side walls and the main vehicle body tube. All in 6005A and 6082 T6 alloys, on our 4,800-ton press, in raw lengths of up to 15.5 meters.

For interiors, we manufacture and deliver finished parts, ready for assembly. Luggage racks, technical channels, partition walls, cafeteria counters, passenger service modules. Each with complete batch-by-batch traceability, because we understand what a railway approval process demands.

Aluminum profiles for your bus or coach

At Extrugasa, we manufacture aluminum profiles for bus and coach bodywork, both structural and interior. Structurally, we extrude roof arches and side members, window and door frames, and floor and side profiles in 6005A and 6082 alloys (T5 and T6 tempers), in raw lengths of up to 15.5 meters.

For interior applications, the approach shifts: here we deliver finished and machined items, ready to integrate directly into your assembly line. Luggage racks, glazing profiles, partitions, curtain and seat tracks, handrails. All in 6060 and 6063 alloys, anodized up to 25 microns or powder coated in a wide range of RAL, Pantone, or NCS colors.

Two profile families, one objective: giving your bus all the structure it needs, and providing us with all the structure to supply it to you.

Aluminum profiles for self-supporting structures

A self-supporting structure stands on its own without load-bearing walls behind it or anything else to hold it up. Its own profiles bear the weight, rain, wind, and years… That is where we step in, manufacturing extruded aluminum profiles for gantries, pavilions, wide-span trusses, curved frames, or multi-story structures. Furthermore, everything is assembled using bolts and clipping systems, eliminating the need for on-site welding.

Regarding capacity, we operate with broad margins: profiles up to 15.5 meters raw (14 meters finished), up to 35 kg/m, and cross-sections up to 330 mm. This allows our clients to cover large truss spans without adding unnecessary weight. That is what transforms project economics: at roughly one-third the weight of steel for the same volume, a self-supporting structure requires lighter foundations and is erected without heavy cranes.

And when its lifespan ends, aluminum is not thrown away—it is 100% recycled, ready to fulfill a new role.

Fénix: certified 100% recycled aluminum billet

A name with a reason behind it: Fénix rises from scrap metal and, like the mythical bird it is named after, is reborn from its ashes to give new life to aluminum. Produced in our own foundry in Valga, it is a 100% recycled aluminum billet, certified by Bureau Veritas according to ISO 14021:2016.

Thanks to this process, we close the loop: scrap enters, and a finished part comes out. And the mechanical properties? Identical to primary aluminum. Recycled does not mean sacrificing quality. If you are looking to reduce your project’s carbon footprint, Fénix offers a verified and traceable alternative.

A comprehensive supplier, end-to-end

We have been working with our clients and long-standing suppliers for over 40 years, which is why we know that the easiest option for you is having a single point of contact for a finished part. Thanks to our range of in-house processes and subprocesses, you won’t need to outsource anything. At Extrugasa, we handle and monitor the entire process in-house at our production facility in Valga (Spain), with batch-by-batch traceability at every stage—from the initial draft to the part delivered to your assembly line.

  • Profile design and die manufacturing services.
  • Extrusion of profiles up to 15.5 meters in raw length.
  • Over 30 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
  • Anodizing and powder coating finishes.
  • Welding, bending, and assembly of components.
  • Packaging design and customized logistics.

We are a family-owned company with a workforce of over 700 people and our own foundry, which produces 30,000 tons of recycled aluminum per year. This infrastructure allows us to respond to every step of the process, not just extrusion. Our quality management system combines ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (Bureau Veritas), Qualicoat, Qualicoat-Qualideco, Qualanod, and CE marking. These are not just standalone stamps; they are proof that every stage seamlessly meets the requirements of the next.
